Cracker Barrels Coming in Silver Tone

A Cracker Barrel representative said it does not comment on the new location until the permitting process is complete and the ground is destroyed. However, responding to a report from EtherVegas, Kimiko Peterson, Silverton's communications director, said Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, including restaurants and stores, are involved in "developing an overall Silverton casino hotel."

"We will have more details about the duration of construction and the expected opening soon," she said. Craig Cavillier, president of Silverton, said the restaurant is expected to open in late 2016.

Until then, the nearest cracker barrel location was Kingman, Arizona, about 103 miles from Las Vegas, and St. George, Utah, about 120 miles away.

Rumors have been circulating for several years that Cracker Barrel has opened an outlet in Southern Nevada. Most recently, the company has been preliminarily scouting for a potential location in North Las Vegas, but confirmed it has no firm plans there. There have also been rumors that the company considered a location in Henderson, but was unable to agree with city employees on seat requirements.

The company has nearly 650 stores in 42 states. Besides Nevada, Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont, Washington and Wyoming have no cracker barrels.

The company is known for its quaint country-style buildings with foyers complete with rocking chairs. Inside the foyer is a store that offers plenty of food served in the restaurant, including toys, clothes, machines, and more, with an emphasis on seasonal products, as well as fried apples, apple butter, and blackberry preserves.   홀짝게임

Beyond the store are restaurants, with a wood-burning fireplace (or Nevada's gas) near the door and old photographs and antique tools covering the walls. The menu leans heavily into Southern favourites, including an all-day breakfast with biscuits and country ham. The lunch/dinner menu, served after 11 a.m., also features steak and salad, but you can choose three sides around Southern staples like chicken and dumplings, country fried steak, and fried chicken.
